Lincoln Construction is looking for a person like you who is a skilled carpenter with commercial construction experience.
In this role – you would be assisting the superintendent with any needs on the project that may require basic – finish carpentry skills, including but not limited to installation of panic hardware, hanging doors, installing acoustical ceiling, reading plans, cleaning the project site, and working without supervision. Our typical work weeks are 8-hour days Monday through Friday.

- Performs a variety of tasks involving dexterous use of hands and tools such as sawing, erecting and dismantling scaffolding, shoring and braces, cutting, and attaching insulation material and demolition.
- Lifts, carries and holds building materials and supplies, levels earth to fine grade using pick and shovel and measures distances from grade stakes, drives stakes and stretches tight line.
- Grinds, sands and polishes surfaces such as concrete or wood.
- Basic block/patching, concrete skills, patching and placing.
- Ability to follow specific instruction and perform a variety of duties that change often.
- Repeat tasks of short duration according to set procedures and work within standard of accuracy.
- Evaluate information using measurable standards.
- Able to physically stand and walk for long periods.
- Use arms and hands to reach for and manipulate objects.
- Lift and carry materials weighing 100 pounds.
- Able to climb up and down ladders, scaffolding and other objects while carrying tools and equipment.
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, see and hear (naturally or with correction).
- Cleans tools, equipment, materials and work area.
- Performs miscellaneous other duties and responsibilities as required.
- Adheres to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Works harmoniously, cooperatively and courteously with others at all times.
- Commercial Construction site experience is required.
- Must provide steel toe work boots, basic carpentry hand tools, and tape measure.
- High school diploma, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required.

Lincoln Construction is currently hiring a highly qualified Project Superintendent with commercial construction experience to provide on-site supervision, management, and leadership. Our construction process is very collaborative, and the Project Superintendent is expected to work directly with project managers, project engineers, and Lincoln field personnel.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement construction schedules.
- Evaluate and adjust work sequences.
- Create and manage look-ahead schedules using Primavera SureTrak.
- Coordinate subcontracts, drawings and specifications.
- Enforce and coordinate site safety and federal OSHA requirements.
- Coordinate site logistics.
- Conduct pre-construction safety and work coordination meetings with major subcontractors.
- Provide overall project quality control.
- Prepare daily logs and other project documentation reports.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree (state certification not required) and 8 years of experience managing commercial construction projects or 10+ years of experience is desired with a strong resume on complex projects.
- Extensive experience representing all aspects of field operations for a commercial construction manager or general contractor.
- Experience on projects over $8 million in size and complexity, particularly complex work like industrial and science related work.
- Previous experience working collaboratively with clients, subcontractors, architects, local building authorities, and other professionals.
- Previous experience with developing construction schedules using Primavera SureTrak, evaluating and adjusting work sequences, and developing look-ahead schedules.
- Knowledgeable about federal OSHA requirements on commercial construction projects.
- Previous experience with coordinating site logistics, conducting pre-construction safety and work coordination meetings with subcontractors.
- Experience with quality control matters as they relate to commercial construction.
- Minimum of 30-hour OSHA training, current first aid and CPR certifications are required.
- Must have and maintain a Valid Driver’s License.
