Plant Expansion Hits Milestones at Simpson Strong-Tie

Several project milestones have been achieved during the months of January and February including the completion of the structural steel, metal decking and the precast wall panels.  Another milestone is the completion of the newly created wetlands which have been inspected and approved by the City of Columbus.

Despite the winter weather conditions, the plant expansion project continues to move forward on schedule with the installation of the new water and storm lines, interior masonry, and roofing.  Multiple cranes, lifts, and approximately 50 to 100 personnel have been present on site during the construction of the steel, masonry, and precast walls.
