Lincoln Construction, central Ohio’s family owned and operated commercial construction company, announces the retirement of JIM KAPAROS effective June 2025.
For the past 42 years, Jim has developed long-lasting client relationships – one project at a time. He has been an important contributor to our success and instrumental in developing our high standards for transparent, honest client communication and helped define our relationship-driven approach. Through his experience managing numerous large and complex projects, he has proven how teamwork and advocacy creates consistent, positive client results. Jim has worked closely with our colleagues to develop our relationship driven approach around meaningful principles, including close collaboration, clear communication, transparency, owner advocacy and problem solving. While Jim’s experience, capabilities and insights will certainly be missed, Jim’s legacy will live on through those he has mentored – both within the office and in the field.
Jim’s background in Construction Management/Business began by attending Columbus State University and the Ohio State University. Jim joined Lincoln Construction in September 1983 as a Project Manager. Jim was promoted to the Executive Team and Vice President of Business Development in 2000.
In addition to his work at Lincoln, Jim enjoys traveling and spending quality time with his family. Jim has been a life-long resident of Upper Arlington, where he also raised his three children.
