Existing Private School is Receiving a Make Over

The Seventh Day Adventist Church located at the intersections of Sunbury and McCutcheon Roads will be receiving an addition to their existing private school.  Now that the design process has been completed – the project team is looking forward to moving forward on the next steps of the project.

The existing structure is an 11,700 square foot wood framed building.  The addition will consist of an additional 8,100 square feet of space for the Academy.  The demising wall between the two buildings will be a 1-hour rated wall with a parapet extending above the roof line.  The framing will be wood studs along with wood trusses and a shingled roof.  The building exterior will consist of split faced masonry and stucco.  The interior of the addition will give the Academy six additional classrooms and two restrooms.

Construction on the project is currently scheduled to get underway later in July.
