With increased enrollment, Kenyon College has elected to renovate the historic Bexley Hall to accommodate additional student housing needs. Bexley Hall, situated at the Northern end of Middle Path Row and initially built in 1839, is a Tudor-Gothic building that once housed the theological seminary and was the third permanent structure at Kenyon College. The proposed 3-story, historic renovation will utilize existing brick, structure, decorative wood trim and prominent stone features in the conversion from its current storage and office use to a 41-bed and 8-suite student housing showcase.
Lincoln Construction is honored and eager to accept Kenyon’s request to engage in yet another partnership on campus. With the project currently under architectural and engineering design, the schedule is set-up to allow phased demolition and structural modifications to begin in March 2022 – all while design is completed to meet the full construction release to start in May 2022 that will lead to a summer 2023 turn-over.
