The Budd Dairy Co. is a historic re-design of a 1914 building, which at the time, was the largest exclusive retail milk business in Ohio. In partnership with Cameron Mitchell, the building features an open food court with 10 commercial kitchens, 3 bars, interior dining, and a rooftop terrace. The remaining space allows for office, IT, and business lease space. The construction involved re-creating the historic window openings, doors, brick façade, terracotta coping, and interior build-out for the kitchens, bars and rooftop terrace. The renovation also features an underground tunnel between the buildings, new stairs, elevator towers, and exterior courtyards and plazas.
When it comes to historic renovations and uniquely complicated construction, Lincoln Construction comes to mind for experts in Central Ohio. We pride ourselves with having some of the most talented team members in Columbus. Our team is selective about the type of projects we tackle, but that does not mean we shy away from challenging work. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. The focus and experience of our team is best suited for complicated projects.
We like to call ourselves expert guides and problem solvers. When you’ve been around the block as many times as we have, you get quite good at bringing unique solutions to the table for clients.
The Budd Dairy food hall was completed in 2021, officially opening to the public on April 6th. If you’re in Columbus, you should stop in for a bite and a drink.
