Since 2001, we have been involved in furthering educational opportunities for area students, giving over $15,000 in scholarships since the inception of our two programs. We are excited to continue our drive to aid college students in their endeavors this year.
Working through the BX Foundation, an important component of the Builder’s Exchange that fosters educational opportunities for students pursuing degrees in construction related fields, we have established the Lincoln Construction Scholarship.
Created in 2004, the scholarship is available to two full-time college students pursuing an associate's degree in construction management at Columbus State Community College.
The 2007 Lincoln Construction Scholarship was awarded to Adam Fitzwater and Andrew Jay McMillen for their demonstrated commitment to the profession of construction management.
Our second program was established through the Central Ohio Associated General Contractors (AGC) to benefit the children of Lincoln Construction employees. Created in 2001, The Willard Williams Memorial Scholarship is named for a former Lincoln superintendent who passed away after a long battle with cancer.
The 2007 Willard Williams Memorial Scholarship was awarded to LaKeshia Jones, daughter of Brent Jones, who is attending Muskingum College. LaKeshia is majoring in Psychology & Criminal Justice.
