Summer is Busy at Denison - Renovation Begins at Shepardson Hall and Doanne Hall Library

Lincoln has begun work on two projects on the campus of Denison University.  The renovation of Shepardson Hall, a 150-bed dormitory, started in mid-May with a flurry of activity as students were moving out for the summer break.  The $2M project includes the complete replacement of restroom fixtures and finishes, new flooring and windows in all dorm rooms.  Students will also enjoy a new centralized laundry room facility and social gathering space when they return to Shepardson Hall in August.

On the other side of Denison’s campus, Lincoln has begun work in Doanne Hall Library.  The $1.1M library project includes the renovation of restrooms and construction of a corridor to simplify access to the passenger elevator and staff offices.  A Compact Storage Unit will be installed on the bottom floor to house Denison’s archive material.  At the second level of the library, the creation of the Center for Learning and Technology (“CLT”) will provide students with group learning rooms to collaborate with other classmates.  The project is expected to be completed prior to the start of the Fall semester.
