Fall 2014
Lincoln Awards Annual Scholarships to Local Students

For over ten years, Lincoln Construction has awarded scholarships to students pursuing degrees in construction related fields at Columbus State Community College. Working through the BX Foundation, an important component of the Builder’s Exchange that fosters educational opportunities for students pursuing degrees in construction related fields, we established the Lincoln Construction Scholarship.  Given to two full-time students, the goal of this scholarship is to reward outstanding future construction managers, who will positively impact the Central Ohio industry.

This year’s Lincoln Construction Scholarships were awarded to Brian Albright and Brian Cunningham for their demonstrated commitment to the profession of construction management. Albright hopes to pursue a career in Architecture and Construction Management and Cunningham is working towards a triple major in Architecture, Civil Engineering and Construction Management.

Our second program was established through the Central Ohio Associated General Contractors (AGC) to benefit the children of Lincoln Construction employees. Created in 2001, The Willard Williams Memorial Scholarship is named for a former Lincoln superintendent who passed away after a long battle with cancer.

Since 2001, we have been involved in furthering educational opportunities for area students, distributing over $30,000 in scholarships since the inception of our two scholarship programs. We are excited to continue our effort to aid college students in their endeavors this year.
