Renovations to the Historic Budd Dairy Building are Completed

The historic revitalization of the nearly 54,000 SF Budd Dairy Co. building is completed and ready for occupants!  The office facility is drawing significant interest as new tenants are drawn to the historical elements of the building and exceptional access to the amenities of Italian Village. Likewise, the food hall portion of the project is open for final installation of furniture, tenant signage and community dining room seating as well as employee training.

The Budd Dairy Co. building was built in 1914, which at the time, was the largest exclusive retail milk business in Ohio. The re-design of the building now features an open food court with 10 kitchens, 3 bars, interior dining, and a rooftop terrace. The remaining space houses offices, IT, and business lease space. The construction involved re-creating the historic window openings, doors, brick façade, terracotta coping, and interior build-out for the kitchens, bars, and rooftop terrace. The renovation also featured an underground tunnel between the buildings, new stairs, elevator towers, and exterior courtyards and plazas.

This historic renovation required three unique building permits, more than 25 subcontractors, and utilized more than 40 different material vendors to source and complete.
