Thanksgiving is a time for gathering family and sharing blessings. This is traditionally done around a special holiday meal. For many families in need, this meal is out of reach.

For 27 years, the Mid-Ohio FoodBank has provided food for needy families in central Ohio. Beginning October 14th and running through November 16th, Lincoln will be collecting donations at our office and job sites to help the FoodBank meet its goals for the holiday season. You can participate in the fight against hunger by bringing in non-perishable food items or by making a monetary donation. Checks should be made payable to Mid-Ohio FoodBank. By collecting critically needed food items and dollar donations, we can brighten the holidays of many local families and give them a holiday meal.

Thanks to all of our friends and employees of Lincoln Construction, we donated 10,311 meals to the Mid-Ohio food bank last year. This year, we are asking our employees and friends to help us reach our goal to provide at least 10,000 meals again this year.

Both food and dollar donations are measured in meals. The following formula is used to determine meals raised:

One pound of food = One Meal
One dollar = Two Meals
