Development Coordinator- Posted December 2007

We are currently looking for an experienced Development Coordinator to help manage projects during the pre-construction phase. The ideal candidate will have an architectural degree (state certification not required) and five years of experience managing the development of projects. In lieu of an architectural degree, 10 years of commercial pre-construction experience is ideal. In both cases field experience—superintendent, carpentry, MEP, or other—is highly recommended for the position. We anticipate that the candidate will have experience on projects over $3 million in size and complexity.

Our pre-construction process is very collaborative, and the development coordinator is expected to manage this process. The candidate should excel in working collaboratively with clients, subcontractors, architects, and other professionals. The Development Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing pre-construction schedules, writing MEP proposals, and frequently working with local building officials.

The ideal candidate should also feel comfortable with checking progress drawings, running meetings, and pushing the process to meet dates. We anticipate that the candidate will have extensive experience developing value engineering and constructability analysis.

If you maintain these credentials and are interested in this position, we are excited to discuss the opportunity with you. Please forward your resume to resumes@lincolnconstruction.com, or fax to 614.457.1994.
