Autumn 2017

Curtis Dining Hall at Denison University Opens Its Doors

Curtis Dining Hall at Denison University has been completed and turned over for the students’ return to campus. Completed in two phases over summer break in 2016 and 2017, this is the third major food service- dining hall renovation that we have done for Denison. The project also encompasses an additional remodel for Student Services. We were brought on board as the CM for early planning and have been intimately involved with every step.

With a focus on energy conservation, local and sustainable foods and a modern design that encourages community and prioritizes individual dietary restrictions and preferences, this project keeps Denison’s character at the forefront. It includes the total abatement and demolition of the mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, the addition of a new main entrance and stair tower, the renovation of the faculty and student dining and community areas and a new state of the art kitchen.
